SFist Tonight

under_radar.jpg

Everybody dance now! Take in a "thought provoking" dance/theater performance with CounterPULSE's Under the Radar tiny caberet featuring an international cast of disabled and non-disabled performers. Consider what it means to be normal. Jess Curtis directs, and the performance takes place at 1310 Mission (at 9th Street). Since it's the first week, tickets are only $10 - 15. Reservations and info, call 415-435-7552 or email info@counterpulse.org .

Spot Francis Ford Coppola, maybe. We'll take the passed pizza, and hope to see FFC, from six to eight p.m. Zoetroepe is celebrating it's so recent 2007 National Magazine Award, and ten year anniversary. The spring issue is designed by Will Oldham, and tonight's fete includes wine, passed pizza, maybe dancing (we dare someone to dance on a cafe table!), but NO readings. Head to Cafe Zoetrope in North Beach at 916 Kearny Street.

Green Movie night hits the Little Roxie Theater with Ayurveda: The Art of Being, a film by Pan Nalin. Doors open at 6 p.m., movie is at 6:30, and there's a discussion at Elixir to follow. Ayurveda is an ancient (think millions of years) holistic health care practice with roots in India. The one ayuverdic self care question on our mind: what exactly is an ayurvedic massage? Little Roxie Theater, 3125 16th Street, SF.
