GleeGate Goes Legal
The father of Shayar Aziz Jr, Shayar Aziz Not Jr., announced yesterday he was going to file a suit in the jaw breaking of his son. The lawsuit was filed against five of the 415 Gang for "assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and violation of civil rights." Those five include the two who have already been charged, Brian Dwyer and Richard Aicardi, as well as Aicardi's two brothers and Marino Peradotto. Peradotto is the one who is part of the Marine's crack anti-acappella group unit.
The main reason for the lawsuit is because, well, no justice, no peace. Junior was the one most seriously beaten and as of yet, there were no charges filed to what happened to him. Out of the "20 strong" only two have. Aziz's father blames Kamala Harris for not doing a damn thing and says the lawsuit was filed mainly because she wouldn't do anything. This comes after reports that the police wanted to charge five people, but Harris, as part of her "you can't lose a case if you don't charge anyone" policy, didn't think there was enough evidence to do it.
To prove he's not doing it for the money, Aziz says all the money he wins in damages will be donated to a charity.

that picture is going to haunt me for the rest of my days. and the local news shows seem to get even more sick pleasure than SFist out of running it every chance they get. over and over again.
THIS sort of thing shows how provincial this burg be.
