Your Cute Video of the Day

Ordinarily, we don't want to get viral with commercials and post them because we don't like playing corporate shills, but this video is kind of cute and San Francisco is kind of the star. Plus, we love the song.

YES! I heard that song on KEXP a while ago and I love it. It's a band (from Quebec, I think?) called "Plastic Bertrand" and the song is called "Ca Plane Pour Moi".

There's a different version of that commercial that's a little better. Either way, "Ca Plane Pour Moi" is an awesome song that people should have to listen to at least, let's say, once a week.

here is another cool san francisco commercial (warning: huge file, but worth it)

If you're gonna pimp a commercial, that is actually a really good one because it really does show off SF rather nicely. Kinda like that ad Sony did a few years back for their BRAVIA line of tvs that was filmed on Filbert street with about a trilling superballs.

Today they were filming a pilot up by the cable car museum, for a show tenatively named "Eli Stone." It's about a lawyer who lives in SF who starts to think he's a prophet (at least that's what IMDB said).

I saw them filming the Market St. part of this (where he's on the ball in a construction zone), and trust me, that actor had the worst job in the world. He basically had to just lay on the ball forever. Didn't look like fun.

The song is "Ca Plein Pour Moi" by Plastique Bertrand. Haven't heard that song since Mme Haney's French class in 1985! Love it!

Has anyone seen a Kia commercial that finishes with what looks like a view of downtown from Potrero Hill?
