What happens to the recycling of plastic bags (you know, those plastic bags you take to Safeway and jam into their plastic bag recycling bin?) if compostable bags are in the mix? Does the recycling process for (plastic bags + compostable bags) still produce good product or does it produce a contaminated recycled plastic that's iffy? Are the compostable bags going to foul up recycling for non-compostable plastic bags out there in the neighborhood?
