--PartyParty is unhappy about Gavin Newsom's plans to veto the 6 month trial of car-free Saturdays in Golden Gate Park (despite reports saying that it doesn't reduce the number of park visitors).

--After hearing horror stories from our friends about how their dogs were left unattended for hours by inept dogwalkers, we are 110% supporting Animal Care and Control's proposed resolutions to start regulating dog walkers more stringently. That same commission has also decided to leave Ocean Beach under federal jurisdiction, with its more restrictive leash laws.
--They've reopened the renovated pergola walkway area by Lake Merritt.
