Hot Stuff: Food Blog Round Up

In the WTF category, some of the blogs we tried reading and wrangling were not available. The message we received: Blogger and Blog*Spot are unavailable. Blogger and Blog*Spot are unavailable right now. We apologize for this interruption in service.

On to fluffier, happier times. In the (Peninsula) ring, we have Beard Papa versus Satura, courtesy of Food Notebook. Areas to critique: price and perceived value, size, filling, and flakiness.

The Ethicurean (great name!) mulls over organic cloned meat and dairy. For a decidedly different rant (we love rants!), check out Fork & Bottle's adamant "say NO" to Girl Scout cookies. Girl Scouts themselves may be puzzled by this analysis, but their troop and organization leaders should give it a read.

Have a laugh on Burritophile and find out what it sounds like to "talk dirty" to a burrito. I'm Mad and I Eat tried a pot roast stuffed with marrow. Mmmmmm, she and Cranky (her partner in crime) live a good life! Last note from Harold McGee: salt your tomatoes as they grow. You don't say....

Tuscan style pot roast with pasta.

Ooh, maybe my focus is a little too close? The meat slab that ate your face.
Thanks, Mary! Very cool.
