EEEEEEEE Y I K E S !

Having a major flashback here... of a naked Frank Jordan!

... Why'd you have to go and do that?

user-pic

Ooh, this should have been run around the Folsom St. Fair--He'd get a lot bear-love action! :)

user-pic

Peskin counts sharks, bottom feeders in bay, City Hall.

user-pic

not the first picture I want to see when I come here

It's Steve Zissou!

user-pic

Big Foot resurrected slighty smaller statue but, all the same hairy...

Next photo Venzulan President Hugo Chavez sporting Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses...in his birthday suit...

In the entire photo spread look for action photos like Chris Daly at the TNDC celebrity dunk or Tony Hall on Treasure Island ...okay I am stopping there...

user-pic

"I'm gonna do Alix Rosenthal a solid and make everyone forget about that Burning Man picture!"

user-pic

"my god, I'm a magnificent specimen."

user-pic

"wait a minute.. is that... hair growing in my ears?!"

user-pic

"Not even the killer sea lion could stop me!"

and cranky adds in a Buffy voice -- ewwwwww

user-pic

"The light coating of olive oil makes me swim faster, and protects me from nits."

Also, is it just me, or does that look like a composited image to anyone else?

user-pic

Hair today, gone tomorrow.

jackson - there are some elements that make it look as if Mr. Peskin (or should I say Mr. President Peskin? Or maybe Councilman Peskin? anyway) that make it look as if he has been superimposed over a shot of a beach.

I really think though, that it's the lighting and contrast. I like the little footprint part, too.

user-pic

No they actually set equipment up on the beach. The lights were 180 degrees apart so the lighting looks unnatural.

The actual magazine also has three shots of him running at the camera, so those are his real footprints.

In any event, it's an arresting image so it benefits the magabook, perhaps at the expense of Mr. Peskin.
