This Old Website
We know. Things have been tough lately. Your comments never show up, the site's harassing you about Typekey, there's weird error messages about proxies and timeouts, and your olive tree is dying. It sucks.
Sometimes it helps to talk about these things. That's why we want you to write to sfistbugreport - @t - gmail - dot - com whenever this site breaks. Broken graphics, error messages, comments that never go through, unsettling aromas -- if the site's technology is doing something wrong, please, let us know. Because we want to fix the computer problems, but sometimes we're the last ones to find out about them.
Tell us what you were doing when you encountered the bug, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and whether you go any error messages. That's important! Be as accurate and specific as possible, so we can fix the problem faster.
Don't use this email address for tips or factual corrections, though -- those should go to the individual writers or our tipline. And don't use it to report individual SFist contributors who appear to be broken as human beings, because we're not a bug -- we're a feature!
