Lucky in the Loin SF legend, Mr. Lucky appears at The Clap doing a live reading of Weekend Hippie at a night of movies and performances at Aunt Charlie's Mini-Discotheque (133 Turk at Taylor). Movies by Dave (Dog) Swan, including the trailer for Shackgirl, which sounds like a cross between The Hills Have Eyes and Lolita, plus clips from Dog Swan's legendary cable access show from late 80's early 90's The Doghouse, which featured appearances by such San Francisco luminaries as Penelope Houston (Avengers), Jello Biafra, Doris Fish, Tippi & more!! Performances to follow by the Garage Organ Sound of Muffled. (10pm)
One of our guilty pleasures is new wave tribute bands - there, we said it - and one of the most serious and impressively detail-oriented is Mongoloid SF's first and foremost Devo re-enactors. They are opening for Japan's Polysics also major Devo fans who have their own "space language." The bacon gets brought home tonight at Bottom of the Hill (1233 17th St at Missouri) starting at 9pm.

Mr. Lucky also paints, and he has show opening this week at the Newmark Gallery, 251 Post Street, in SF.
