It's Tuesday-- Do You Know Where Your Football Teams Are?

Let's see, you want to move but you're still on the lease and your landlord is not very happy that you want to move away. And the place you want to move might not even be built so you need a back up plan which consist of working something out with the landlord. So what do you do? Make nicey nice with the landlord? Grin and bear it? Or do you file a legal claim in preparation of a lawsuit. If you say you'd do the last thing, you are the San Francisco 49ers who made nicey nice with the city of San Francisco by filing a legal claim.

Let's just say relations between the 49ers and San Francisco could be a bit better right now.

The legal claim is basically saying the city of San Francisco was your everyday basic slumlord in regards to Candlestick. Nothing got fixed, everything fell into disrepair and things kept on breaking. To which the city of San Francisco referred the matter to their legal people which is what people say when they know they're in legal trouble.

In other news, the idea of the Raiders and the 49ers shacking up together quickly got shot down by pretty much everyone involved. And thank God too because somehow the name Santa Clara Raiders just doesn't seem as intimidating. Actually, there's a part of us that liked this idea only because it would be like some "Odd Couple" sitcom with two people moving in with each other, one a wine sipping Yuppie from Marin and the other a beer-bellied biker dude with an affinity for wrestling. Talk about hilarity.
