although, jer, that is a most excellent point (he's calling for less fuel use NOW?), there is also something to be said for watching the real-time reactions of everyone else. like the fake clapping general. clap. pause. clap. pause. the shot of condi looking like a mad kitty then looking out of the corner of her eye to see if everyone else was giving a standing O as she rose. the picture of laura bush all snuggled up to the african basketball player. I think she was holding his hand to reassure him. ya know, she seems like a nice, thoughtful lady who has done absolutely nothing to curb the idiocy of her husband. that's a bummer. I wonder if she's studied much about Ava Braun? eh, that's probably going too far. Bush isn't Hitler. He's more like a bumbling anti-christ wannabe. If anyone could inadvertantly bring about the apocalypse, it's him.

What is with the encouragement to not watch The State of the Union? Whether or not someone agrees with the president or any of his policies, sticking their head in the ground is not going to help.
