Lots of gun-related mayhem in today's stories. One wonders why it is that everyone seems to be in a pissy mood lately.
-Here's a really sad story about the aftermath of a shooting last Friday.
-There was a road-rage incident in Richmond that left someone in critical condition.
-Shots were fired into a Pinole Safeway.
-Was that your cell phone that exploded or are you just happy to see me?
-Starting fires might be all the rage in Oakland these days.
-It's not a good time to be a citrus fruit.
-At MLK breakfast, Pelosi talks up taking on Bush, Arnie talks up taking on health care.
-Those Universal transit passes might be a little delayed.
-The Examiner has a story about adding those surveillance cameras to the intersection at 16th & Mission. In all honesty, we've never heard that corner referred to as the "Tenderloin of the Mission" but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
-UC Regents are thinking about no longer accepting tobacco money.
