SFist Tonight - Let's (Inter)Active!

MULetsActive.jpgLocal Comedian, Heather Gold of I Look Like An Egg, but I Identify As A Cookie fame will be at the Jewish Community Center of SF (3200 California St at Presidio) tonight with Outside In: hacking, pranking and prison-braking, an interactive talk show that's being compared to This American Life in real-time. Guests: Corporate hacker and hacking fan Bradley Horowitz (Creator of Yahoo Hack Day, VP of Product Strategy, acquirer of flickr, upcoming.org), undercover satirist and author Harmon Leon (The Infiltrator: My Undercover Exploits in Right Wing America, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, OJ Simpson’sJuice’d) and Rhodessa Jones, award-winning Founder and Director of The Medea Project: Theatre for Incarcerated Women, and of course you, the audience. (8pm)

And more interactivity, or shall we call it "user-generated content" - Bring Your Own Art(Show) at Triple Base Gallery (3041 24th St at Treat). Bring, art, music, poetry and whatever else is important (also whatever you need to display with them, it, or the performance), it's a free-for-all! (7 - 10pm)

Meanwhile, over in Oakland, new Mayor Ron Dellums is gallery hopping tonight, and would like your user-generated content, er, company. The exact schedule is not listed on the website (pdf warning) and we doubt you can send Ron a text message for reconnoiterous purposes. Some the galleries awaiting Ron's presence include Joyce Gordon Gallery (406 14th St. at Franklin, near 12th St BART), Swarm Gallery (560 2nd St at Clay in Jack London Square near the Ferry Terminal) and East Side Arts Alliance (2587 International Blvd. near Fruitvale BART). (5-8pm)
