it's Got to Be the Morning After
So where are we in the whole Bonds on Speed story? According to the Giants, they didn't know Bonds tested positive at all which sounds kind of silly, now doesn't it? Barry also went out and defended Mark Sweeney, which is nice of him to do considering Barry threw him under the bus.
So what do we do with a problem like Barry? Say au revoir? Does the Giants' front office have the guts to do it? Will it affect ticket sales? Is this the straw that broke the Giant's fans back? Or maybe not as the Giants blogosphere is ambivelant at best.
As Gwen Knapp says, next year is going to be one long, strange trip.

I grew up a Giants fan and stuck with them through thick and thin. Whenever they'd lose (which was often) we'd sigh and say, "Well, there's always next year." I could handle a losing team. What I couldn't handle was a yuppie ballpark, players whining about "low" salaries, $7 beer, and steroids. Sorry Giants. Bye, bye, baby.
