unless they are willing to trade Monta I don't see them making a trade

J-Rich is even damaged goods now

Don't even mention Dunleavy, Murphy, or Ike. Nobody wants those guys nor could I see anyone really wanting Peitrus either

After last night's pathetic performance, the playoffs seems laughable, but we can dream can't we. The chances were long before yesterday's joke of a game, but we at least wanted to point out that the opportunity was there -- it was mathematically do-able.

We need a trade before the deadline. A trade for a significant big man to bolster the front line -- think about how good Biedrins can be if he has some help up front -- and a dead-eye outside shooter or a shut-down defender. Without those pieces, we'll be stuck playing mathematical shell games trying to manufacture playoff scenarios.

Sigh.

not to rain on the parade, but Denver is a lock in the playoffs. They just went 1-5, and might slide a bit more, but once they get Melo back, they go back to play .600 ball. So you got 1 slot for 4 teams (Clips, Wolves, Sacto and Warriors). The Clips got everyone back and will hit their stride, good for 45-37 when all is said and done. And the Warriors are in the lottery. I mean, a team where your key contributors are Matt Barnes (a fellow Bruin, I love him, but not exactly a franchise player) and some NDBL guy whose name I can't spell? Nelly is good, but not THAT good. Remember last year, the Warriors were 18-18, and what good it did to them.
