Tonight at Eleven: A Sad Reflection on Today's Society

sicknsad.jpgZOMG intarweb television clusterfriends! We just had a lovely sit-down with Jean Elle, NBC11's ace News Reportrix. She interviewed us (with a camera and microphone and notebook and everything!) for a story she's doing about the Muni video that SFist_Jon posted about earlier. Tune in tonight at 11:00 on Channel 11 for our television debut! We brushed our teeth for it and everything. (But we didn't comb our hair. It's not like it was Connie Chung, for crying out loud.)

Among the questions asked while leaning conspiratorially forward: "Is this a sad reflection on today's society?" Why, yes, Jean, it is. In fact, we feel that everything about today's society reflects sadly on it. And: "isn't this a nightmare scenario for a driver?" Hmm, we have a sneaky suspicion that when it's all pieced together, the story's sympathies might not lie with the beleaguered rider.

Well anyway, in the end, all we can say is: Good. Good, and it's about time that the traditional media oligarchy stood up and started paying attention to the overlooked news that really matters: local jerks who tried to sneak onto a bus over a month ago.
