Day Around the Bay

-Another quake hit the Berkeley area, this time around 2.8. That's the fourth in that area over the past week and the fifth in the Bay Area. Maybe this is a good time to get that Earthquake Kit we've always dreamed about getting.
-Yesterday's storm claimed Manka's Inverness Lodge in Marin County.
-8,000 people in the area still without power. SFist shudders to think what it would be like to go a day without internet and TiVo.
-The storm also claimed the "M" Line as a tree fell on one of those MUNI power lines.
-The Governator wants money to go to the Technologies-- Green, bio, and nano.
-There might be movies shown in Golden Gate Park next summer.
