-Sharks lose to the Dallas Stars 3-0. Not really a surprise considering the Stars were looking to open up a can of whoop-as and the Sharkies were coming off a four-game break. It's the Sharks second loss to the Stars and the third time they've been blanked in the past fourteen games.

-Troy Murphy not a happy, healthy camper.

-Bears QB, Nate Longshore, could go on one of those Mormon missions sometime soon.

-Alex Smith is "slippery" even when not wet. Ann Killion is dreaming of a Niners playoff appearance.

-Being a member of the Raiders D is hard. So is being Art Shell. And Glenn Dickey let's the Examiner run a horrible pun in his name.

-Barry Zito should stay far, far away from the Giants. El Lefty likes it that way. Tim Goodman, meanwhile, puts down the remote long enough to vent about the Gigantes.

-Erubiel Durazo re-signs with the A's. Athletics Nation gives out their A's Christmas Gift List.
