Theater Just added performances of Gibraltar by Octavio Solis, presented by Thick Description at Thick House (1695 18th St. at De Haro). This passionate story of love, loss, danger, guilt, and salvation, features a powerhouse cast and music by San Francisco surf/psychedelic legends The Mermen. (8pm)

In the North Bay Tiburon Film Society presents the Canadian film, Saint Monica at the Bay Club Marin (220 Corte Madera Town Center in Corte Madera). Monica's (newcomer Genevieve Buechner) most fervent wish is to be an angel in the annual summer church procession. When she learns she is to be replaced in the parade, Monica steals a pair of the 'angel wings', only to lose them on a streetcar. In her attempts to recover them from Mary (Clare Coulter), a troubled homeless woman who believes she is communicating with God, Monica learns something about being a real angel. (8pm)
