Mayoral Race Poll

Now that Gavin has stopped playing coy and moved ahead with his re-election plans, the question is who will step up to run against Mr. 80% Approval Ratings? It's the parlor game anyone can play!

So far, the question has been pondered in the Bay Guardian, Beyond Chron, and yesterday's Matier & Ross column. And the answer, so far? Nobody has the cajones to.

With all that said, and at the behest of a reader (keep those cards and letters coming), we turn to you, dear readers, to see what you think. Who do you think should run again Gavin Newsom?

Polls close at 8 Thursday night and we'll announce the winner on Friday. Oh, and if you have a write-in candidate, mention that too. Maybe we'll add it. Maybe not. Or maybe it'll be so good we'll make that the winner anyways.

This group seems like a reasonable start. But as someone posted on The Wall recently, keep SF beautiful - Kamala Harris vs. Gavin Newsom.

Then again, maybe Mayor Newsom is so lost about where to next park Annemarie Conroy that he'd consider slotting her into his own seat.

Hey... you have an issue... when you cast your vote the webpage isn't found... or is this just what we should expect from electronic voting and continue on our merry way? ;-)

Hmmm...I got the same problem Dough. I knew I should have tested things out before hand.

We'll get working on it right now and hopefully, will have that part of the poll fixed in an hour or so.

Keep on voting, though.

couldn't resist the sports blog with the lou seal?

everyone knows crazy crab would win it

You won't,

believe this. But, I just finished a bottle of Jim Beam with Al Gore and he's going to run.

h.

I would love to vote, but who is..... Chris Dally? Did I miss something? Why do we need a mayor? City seems to running fine without one now.
