I think the security fellows at the airport are starting to think it's a joke too. They are definitely easing up.

I have a bit of ranting to do here, since I travel a lot. First of all, it is soooo obvious a man made up this silly rule. Originally you were allowed up to 3 containers of liquids under 3 oz. That's it...

Do you think any sane woman would actually check in her cosmetic case??? Seriously. Let me tell you what's considered liquid and what's in a minimal make-up case.

1. primer lotion (yeah, it's what you think)
2. liquid foundation
3. mascara
4. lip gloss

Who on earth would categorize mascara as liquid? Seriously, did any of these guys try to "pour" the mascara into a tube? So they can mix it in a blender, in the bathroom, on the plane?

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I love how those plastic ziploc bags are supposed to magically detect liquid explosive material. Nice to know we're on the cutting edge of science.

Yeah, SFO is pretty good.

Just wait until they discover a nascent explosive trousers plot and everyone has to take off their pants.
