-The New Bay Bridge inches ever closer to being finished.

-Two construction workers were critically injured when a slab of concrete fell on them.

-East Bay officials call for water conservation. Remember folks, if it's brown flush down, if it's yellow be mellow.

-The Chron goes into the way-back machine to write what it was like in San Francisco the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. Which would be today. Or at least today 65 years ago.
