Lot of sports to talk about, so let's get r' done.
-Cal beats Stanford to win the Axe. See what happens when you don't let the Stanford band play? Anyways, Cal played just enough to win and Stanford played well enough to win, but Cal still won. As for Stanford, the Walt Harris death watch begins.
-The Warriors were held scoreless in the last three minutes to lose to the Bucks, 115-110. They still managed to hold onto the lead up until the last minute but couldn't quite close the deal.
-The Sharks, however, are closers, as they scored a goal with 5.9 seconds to beat the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2. It's only their third win in fifteen seasons in Detroit.
-Cal to face USC in NCAA Marco water polo final..
-Giants don't believe the Barry hype. Oh, the mating dance between these two is starting to achieve Ross & Rachel levels.
-Beane likes look of the A's despite the lack of a big-bopper in the middle of the lineup.
-Scott Ostler travels to New Orleans for the 49ers game and, well, sort of gets all teary-eyed in discussing the Saints. Just like everyone else in the country.
