<description>&lt;p&gt;People who complain about Californians&apos; bad driving habits never address this critical point: most people who live in California aren&apos;t actually natives.

That&apos;s right, the guy who&apos;s driving like an absolute buffoon in the rain probably grew up in Peoria and graduated from Carbondale before moving out here to chase the dotcom dream.

Anyone who has lived here for a couple of years seems to lose whatever rain/snow driving skills they acquired elsewhere. These are, of course, the same people who fly back for Christmas in Wisconsin and realize that they forgot to pack anything heavier than a light parka. :)&lt;/p&gt;</description>
