It's Got to Be the Morning After

Suns 113, Warriors 110- And so endeth the Warriors six game winning streak and five game home winning streak. All this to the Suns, a run-n-gun basketball team that we have a feeling influenced Mully and Nellie more than you'd like to know. High scoring basketball, catch it. The game was close, though, as the Suns won on a last second three pointer from former Santa Clara grad, Steve Nash. Monta Ellis led the way with 31 points for the Warriors.

Cal 73, Santa Clara 48- Speaking of Santa Clara, the Cal Bears finally beat somebody. The Bears were actually down by seven at one point, but that turned out not to be such a big deal.

-New Giants manager Bruce Bochy said he's on a visit to Florida to talk to beleguered and mucho desliked Armano Benitez to check on to see how he's doing after yet another surgery. And by see how he's doing, we don't mean it like Capt. Willard was sent to go see how Col. Kurtz was doing.
