-Berkeley joins in on the Stadium fun.
-Dems already start in with in-fighting: Pelosi backs John Murtha over Steny Hoyer. What kind of name is Steny anyways?
-In a surprise to nobody, Chris Daly took the poor vote.
-Department of Veterans Affairs to give grant money to the Salvation Army to work with homeless vets.
-Biker in Santa Rosa hit by car, given DUI. That's what you call a really bad day.
-With no other problems to face, the San Francisco school board is set to vote on JROTC program tonight. That should be fun.
-California economy doing well, rest of state not so much.
-It maybe crab season, but crab fisherman are feeling crabby.

In-fighting? It's an election for a leadership position. Pretty standard really.
With those prices, I'd be crabby if I were a crab fisherman, too.
It is a standard contest for party leadership but Hoyer and Pelosi don't like each other and Hoyer is the second in command. Pelosi choosing Murtha is a slap at Hoyer. As Hoyer is more conservative than Pelosi and I think from the South, bored pundits are trying to dream up some sort of House Democrat drama. Still, Pelosi choosing Murtha over Hoyer is a big move.
so why is city hall lit up? i like the colors
Must have been some event or party.
Never saw the blue lights before.
All red looks a little menacing:
