Day Around The Bay

SFist Jon's DSL is still screwed up; you're stuck with us and our insistance on using two dashes instead of one to start off our entries.

--SFMike from SF Civic Center had a keee-razee day pollwatching on Tuesday. Ha! You gotta read this one.

--People voted in cool places. We totally want to move to the precinct that votes at the puppy adoption center.

xin_33110309103903410964209.jpg--Cindy Sheehan gets arrested again in DC.

--Alix Rosenthal says she had a really good time running for office.

--The SF bike plan needs a full environmental report.

--Summaries of David Binder's post-election analysis at SPUR. We like how Gavin's people are now trying to act all like they didn't have any connection to Rob Black or Doug Chan now. A good friend's always got your back!

--A SF federal judge bars enforcement of the sex offenders proposition.

--The motherf**kers at the Golden Gate Restaurant Association filed a lawsuit against Ammiano's universal health care program (sorry, we screwed this one up earlier! thanks for the catch, diligent readers!)

--The SF Opera's got a new contract with its union.

--Check out Fog City Journal's pictures of the post-election scene. Ryan Chamberlain really does look very sad.

There's Cindy Sheehan getting arrested!

Actually, the GGRA is suing to overturn the compromise citywide health ordinance that was passed this year. They haven't gotten to Prop E yet (they're probably too busy spitting in Sarah Low Daly's food).

Hey Sasha -- I was correcting that one right as you were commenting! It's fixed above.

I'm so glad to hear Alix had fun spending city dollars on her vanity campaign and polluting half the city with her ugly signs. Would be nice if future candidates had the integrity to attend a few neighborhood meetings before taking public funds. I hope those signs come down before she leaves for her vacation.

Looks like Jane Kim is Chinese-American, according to the Chronicle. I suppose there's a chance she could be, despite the Korean name, as could Jack Neeley.
