I'm mildly ashamed to know this, but Snoop was suspected to trying to take a "collapsible baton" on the plane, not a gun.
Rock on, Anita -- totally right. I had remembered the initial reports that it was a gun and didn't see that it was actually a collapsible baton. Changed in the text!
