You know, even the most hardened Political Junkies get a little bored with the upcoming election every now and then -- and it's such a beautiful day today! We're putting down the Voter Information Guides, the green and silver beads, the Jaynry Mak fundraising kit, the Krissy Keefer drums, and the David Kiddoo write-in forms, and enjoying the first day of Fall Back!

Reader Jim Herd sent along some gorgeous pictures of nature scenes around San Francisco, and we're passing them along to you before we head out. Thanks for the lovely shots, Jim! And readers, if you've got any pictures you'd like to send our way, we're always looking for an excuse to post 'em.
