Everybody Hates Chris: The District 6 Election

It's a mishmash of random news items about -- the District 6 election! This week's episode: Everybody Hates Odds And Ends.

Okay, most of these items are about Chris Daly -- because none of you Rob Black, Matt Drake, Manuel Jimenez, or anyone else supporters are sending us items. Rob Black hasn't even bothered to update his blog since August 25. Help us help you, Everybody But Chris candidates!

--Daly's bought a bunch of ginormous billboards of himself -- one pictured above, and we drove by one on Valencia and McCoppin earlier today too. The 40 foot killer supervisor!

--District Attorney Kamala Harris has endorsed Daly, while the SF Police Officers Association has endorsed Black. Law versus order.

--Dueling candidates at 16th and Mission today -- Gavin Newsom showed up with Black in tow, right around when Daly was holding his weekend rally. We're really enjoying how this picture of Newsom and Black has a gigantic green DALY behind them.

--Chris is getting over a bad cold. Echinacea, Chris! Also, all you Daly campaign volunteers, use your anti-bacterial hand sanitizers after time with the candidate.
