Everybody Hates Chris: The District 6 Election

We're going to make our editor even more unhappy -- by posting about the District 6 election again! This week's episode: Everybody Hates Poll Numbers.

Our editor's asked us to tone down the District 6 coverage.... but we just can't stop! The Chron's Matier and Ross today have released numbers purporting to show that Rob Black has a 6-point lead on Chris Daly, with the numbers at 37%-31%. This contrasts with one set of numbers that showed Daly with a 10 point lead, and another set of numbers that showed Black with a 10 point lead. The spin patrol is in high gear!

Pro Rob Black camp: Chris Daly's a thug! Hooray!

Pro Chris Daly camp: What's the margin of error on this thing? The poll was done by pro-Black people. What about RCV? Daly hasn't been able to respond to the pile-on of negative ads until now.

Pro Matt Drake camp: Chris Daly fears me.

Pro Manuel Jimenez camp: No one ever pays attention to me.
