Day Around the Bay
-Pete Wilson (the anchor, not the ex-Governor) says "sorry about that" over his comments in regards to gay people having babies.
-Oakland sues landlord for being very, very bad.
-Note to self, keep the spinach away from the cow sh--.
-Unless you want to use it for natural gas.
-School children march through the Mission to protest crime, homelessness, drugs, and violence in the Mission. Why do they support gentrification?
-"Guru of Ganja" was re-indicted by a federal grand jury for stock option fraud. No, just joking, he got re-indicted for marijuana charges.
-Phil Angelides shows up at the Tonight Show studio the day after Arnie's appearnce. Outside the studio. When it wasn't taping. To campaign. Political analysts say desperation is never attractive.
-Sharks blow 4-2 lead and lose 6-4 to Edmonton. Edmonton pulled it off by scoring three goals in a two minute span in the third period. Ouch.

Isn't this kind of a racist / classist comment, that eliminating those things = gentrification?
"School children march through the Mission to protest crime, homelessness, drugs, and violence in the Mission. Why do they support gentrification?"
How ironic that, just a block away from Chris Daly's re-election headquarters, children have to protest drug pushers in their neighborhood! If Daly had done his job over the past 6 years, their lives could've been improved. No, he'll just blame it on the cops of the Mission, like he has on those of the Tenderloin. What a failure Chris Daly is.
