It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas?
If there's ever more proof needed that the end of the world is coming, we give you news that it snowed up in Tahoe today. Isn't this what happens in all the movies right before the end, you know, the freakish storms hit just around the time people who dismissed the scientists nobody believed start to believe? Didn't Nostradamus write about this as happening just before the apocalypse comes when some short little midget type person with a weird puffy hairdo gets the bomb?
Or maybe not.
The snow started early this morning and continued into mid-morning, leaving three to six inches on the ground. All roads and passes were allowed to be open but chains were required. The snow hit mostly South Lake Tahoe but not Truckee or North Lake Tahoe.
Snow actually was expected despite it being October, all of which is a bit of a bummer for the AVP Best of the Beach volleyball series that was supposed to take place this week. But not for people at Heavenly (check out their web cam)
