SchwarzenWatcher: Big Mouth Strikes Again

Yesterday, at an event in LA to celebrate legislation he signed to make Asian food server safer, the Governator was asked a question about immigration and, booyah! he said something dumb again. The quote is pretty long and detailed (you can watch the video here) but he essentially said that Mexican immigrants don't really care about assimilating. Oh, and he also praised Asians for being really hard workers. He did not, however criticize Asians for not caring about assimilating or praise Mexicans for being really hard workers because what's the fun in saying something that's not a stereotype?

Now why would somebody running for office say something so dumb? After all, rule #1 of running for an election is to try and not piss off people whose vote you want. Well, speculation is it that Angelides just might release those Arnie Unplugged tapes and since the word is that there's more in there than the comment about Latina women "hot tempered," Arnie is trying to smoothe the way by saying dumb-ass things now so that when the tape is released, it won't be any big deal. In other words, it would be like this whole Foley IM'ing scandal is merely a way to prepare people for the eminent releasing of a Foley/Screech sex tape.

Or maybe not. Maybe he's just trying to get a guest shot on "Mind of Mencia?"

These comments probably won't matter anyways because Angelides is so down nothing Arnie says could hurt him right now. Unless, of course, Angelides has tapes of Arnie IM'ing 16 year old boys. Eh, that probably won't help either. Must be good to know that as a politician, you could probably have an orgy with a bunch of prepubescent boys and nobody would really care because who didn't love Twins?
