Day Around the Bay

-Homeless people are rousted from Golden Gate Park. We have them coming back to the park in three weeks in the SFist office pool.

-Was the brinks truck heist an inside job and by inside job we mean the other driver?

-The state has over $5 billion in dollars that they owe people but doesn't know how to get rid of it. Two words: keg and party.

-The Governator signs a bill cracking down on college hazing. Frat boys everywhere give silent prayer of thanks.

-Another bill signed by a very busy Arnie will allow San Francisco to go solar and gain more energy independence.

-San Francisco neighborhood groups to San Francisco political types: "can't we all just get along?"

-The Pakistani community in Lodi is a little scared these days.

-Cutbacks at BART mean smelly elevators.

-In college football, it's deja vu all over again: Cal romps over Oregon State, 41-13 and Stanford gets shut out by UCLA.

-And finally tasked with one simple little job, that being to beat LA, the Giants can't even do that as the Dodgers celebrate a playoff spot in the Phonebooth. Not so surprisingly, Felipe is probably gone as of this afternoon.
