The Guilfency In Print

[Kimberly] Guilfoyle's plump lips retreat into a Jessica Rabbit pout. "But you're hot Zoolander! Sexy Zoolander! Rrrrrrrrrrrargh Zoolander!"

eric_villency_d-thumb.jpgThus are we introduced to New York's latest arriviste couple, The Guilfency, in October 2006's W Magazine, as Eric Villency gets called out for his sexy Blue Steel picture pose. (We cannot find an online link to this article for love or money, but we bet commenter ThatChick can!)

We're sorry to tell you there is no picture of anyone lying down on anything -- but So Best is indeed referenced in the article, in a paragraph describing Kimberly as "socially ambitious."

There is too much good stuff in this article. We're overwhelmed! Here's a summary of what we've learned:

--Kimberly says she wasn't dating Gavin when she escorted him to Beach Blanket Babylon with Prince Charles in November 2005. "I'm my own person in San Francisco. I was invited as myself." Sure! No ambivalence at all.

More highlights from the article after the jump!

--Divorce was finalized in February 2006. Guilfoyle was approximately two months pregnant in March 2006. The baby was planned.

--Here are quotes from the Guilfency's friends. "Eric deserves to get everything he wants, and Kimberly gets everything she wants," and "A slightly older woman who's been through a little heartache doesn't want to waste her time playing the game." Guilfoyle is 37, Villency 31.

--"Guilfoyle doesn't like to talk about Newsom." Also, when she moved to New York back in January 05, "I'd been very unhappy for awhile." Oh really?

--Villency says Kimberly "makes up songs and her mind is really quick." This is where that Ice Ice Baby quote that we talked about earlier comes from.

--They're naming the baby Ronan Anthony, and plan to dress him up for Halloween. Halloween is Eric's favorite holiday, and he and his posse are going as the Cobra Kai from the Karate Kid and will dress up the baby as Mr. Miyagi. Kim would like to go as Hilary Swank's character because "I've had training in karate."

--And most excitingly -- the article specifically says that "one San Francisco blog has christened the couple ... Guilfency." Thank you! We're so flattered to have made it! (but we usually put a "The" in front of it.)
