Day Around The Bay
--Love the San Jose public library -- just don't love the San Jose public library.
--An Angelides aide says they found the "hot blooded Latino" audio clip on a publicly-accessible website. Also, former Steve Westly manager Garry South seems to be calling Matier and Ross a lot.
--The City of Oakland accidentally turned down a historic garden by Lake Merritt, and now has to make it into condos.
--Water fountain pressure is low at Oakland Airport (but wi-fi works fine).
--The Chron's 20 best taquerias.
--No one wants to run in the Willow Glen Founder's Day race.
--They finally settled the SF hotel strike.


Well, the southbay doesn't get it that the area south of San Francisco isn't as hip as or cultured being spread out over a couple hundred square miles they don't have the same density but can be pretty dense.
