Day Around the Bay

-HP Chairman (Chairwoman?) Patricia Dunn will step down in January for all the craziness HP has been involved in lately. We're sure that with all the scandal swirling about that she's sort of responsible for, HP will give her a package commiserate with the mess, like say only several millions of dollars.

-The Bay Area took some time yesterday to reflect on 9/11.

-And speaking of which, all the 9/11 stuff even got C.W. Nevius angry. You wouldn't want to see C.W. Nevius get angry....

-An Arabic Scholar at SFSU went up to Canada to get his temporary scholar Visa renewed three months ago and hasn't been allowed to come back. Why? War on Terror, 9/11, blah, blah, blah...

-A plane into SFO was diverted because somebody left a motherf----- Palm Pilot on a motherf------ plane. Oh wait, "Snakes on a Plane" jokes are so August.

- The son of Colma Vice Mayor Fro Vallerga, Larry Vallerga Jr., was killed in a car crash on El Camino Real in San Mateo County on Sunday.

-Today is Spare the Air Day. Again.
