Gavin's Back!
So Mayor Gavin Newsom can't be bothered to show up for a police commissioner meeting or deal with MUNI, the taxicab commission, or the Dept. of Building Inspection -- but he's so there for the SF Symphony Opening Gala! We all know Gavin loves the Stravinsky violin concerto.
And who's Gavin's latest squeeze? The intriguingly-spelled Brittanie Mountz, who played women's lacrosse for Sonoma State. She discussed the importance of civic participation in the arts as Gavin listed off his fashion ("Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci -- underwear, socks, jacket."). Hey, at least he's got on underwear.

Maybe in effort to pay his new home mortgage Gavin has started a baby-sitting business on the side. Maybe, just maybe, she was a last minute fill in for her much older "friend".

This morning on Alice, they were talking about her. Hooman (sp?) said she was a Euoprean model. Hooman asked Gavin to come on the show and talk about the death of Steve Irwin, and he agreed to if he could bring his model friend to talk about her line of underwear, or something.
Gavin seems to have a thing for the underwear models.
FYI: Brittanie's MySpace page is now set to "private," and says she's 25 years old. (plus -- she's online NOW!)

I think she is the model, and Gavin hired her as an escort. And I bet her spiel about civic participation in the performing arts was all rehearsed. C'mon, Gavin is all about image. Plus there's nothing spectacular about a rich guy who's constantly in he media robbing the cradle. All a young model wants is to get some air time, and why not take advantage of the guy's money as well?
