Okay, let's get all those big headline news items up and out of the way: Scott Dyleski is guilty of killing the wife of Susan Polk's lawyer; creepy John Karr who used to live around here remains creepy but is no longer considered the JonBenet Ramsey killer; and that guy they think maybe have molested over 100 boys is serving as his own lawyer at trial. Also, five murders in three incidents in SF over the weekend.
There's a strange story from the Mission this weekend, involving a man who claims his 5-month old daughter was stolen from his car on Sunday evening. The car was parked at 18th and Mission as the father went out for less than 5 minutes to get some smokes. A window in the car had been previously broken, but no one in the area said they saw anything. The father admitted that he had come to the Mission to pick up crack, but says that has "nothing to do with why my daugher is missing."
And the Prescott Hotel in Union Square caught on fire early Monday morning (but the damage was mostly from the sprinklers). Meanwhile, do you want to adopt 1-15 guinea pigs rescued from an apartment fire in Walnut Creek? One baby guinea pig has a broken leg and several of the lady guinea pigs are expecting.
