Now That's An Amazing Race!

Artist Joshua Sofaer launched his unique take on the scavenger hunt in London in 2001. Now he's bringing "the ultimate art scavenger hunt" to San Francisco's MOMA.

Apply here before September 15 to be one of the 50 4-member teams selected to "race from the Museum across the city in search of fame and glory with only eight hours, 100 clues, and the 7-by-7-mile area of San Francisco at (your) disposal." The winning team will take home 4K, which nicely offsets the (gulp) $100 registration fee.

Items collected in the competition will be used in a three-day exhibition in SFMOMA’s galleries, beginning Sunday, October 1, and continuing through Tuesday, October 3.
