Muni Makes Us Drink (But This Time It's Free!)

DavidColor.jpgYou've gotta admire SFCityscape's Steve Boland for putting his money where his Muni-griping mouth is. While lesser sites (like SFist, we freely admit) are content just to bitch and moan about Muni, SF Cityscape wants to buy you a drink at Trad'r Sam.

First, come out for the Richmond Town Hall Meeting with Mayor Newsom and Supervisor McGoldrick, this Saturday, July 29 from noon to 2 at Presidio Middle School (450 30th Ave between Geary and Clement). After the meeting, bring this coupon to Trad'r Sam to have a drink on and with Steve.

While we recommend attending this meeting to support improved transit and safety along Geary Blvd (and, duh, free booze), we also hear that sure to attend BRT opponent David Heller is hilarious. Just one question -- Steve's promised scorpion bowls to SocketSite and pdx6, but what does an SFist get?

Get your coupon here, or after the jump.

Image of David Heller, who doesn't believe people ride the bus to buy groceries. See what we mean? Hilarious!

this is awesome!

It is nice to see that some people get it - that getting involved in things like this doesn't have to be all dour and sour - that getting involved can and should be fun too!

right on!

Oh, this is too wonderful! I can't resist such an invitation for hilarity, drinking, and maybe even more hilarity.
