SFist Blotter

docksofsf.jpg"This is West Pittsburg!" Two people in Walnut Creek who were selling hooded jackets on Craigslist got held up at gunpoint in the Walnut Creek Target underground garage by their would-be buyers, two Asian-American teens (one of whom was wearing a cap that said VIETNAMESE on it and the other of whom was wearing a gold grill on his teeth). As the teens sped off in their Lexus with their 11 unpaid-for jackets, they flashed a gang symbol and gave the shoutout that began this Blotter recap.

Remember Maureen Faibish, the Sunset mother who left her kid alone with a crazed and horny pit bull while she went to the grocery store, and came back to find him dead? Remember all those weird things she said to the press too, like about walking in on her two dogs doing it and locking her son in the basement with some Cheetos? Well, her trial started yesterday. Should be a zoo.

And finally -- check out the Merc News's blotter. For fun, compare, say, San Jose's report (man attacking another man with a machete, 5 people selling crack) with Atherton's (15 minutes of noisy drumming, which stopped on its own; loud drilling).

Ahh!

Thank goodness those ruffians were from West Pittsburg!

I would hate to have been robbed by the thugs from East Pleasanton!

South Central Martinez, represent!
