Saturday: Hell yeah! For those of you who couldn't get a ticket during HoleHead, The Primitive Screwheads are back with their stage show The Chainsaw Massacres. Running on June 30, July 1, 2, and 7, you can get your tickets here. Doors open at 7:30, a band plays at 8, and the Sawyers chow down at 9, all at Cellspace (2050 Bryant at 18th).
Sunday: Sometimes we like to pretend to be deep, and going to events like the Speakeasy Reading Series Night of Poetry sure doesn't hurt. Running from 6-8 at Bazaar Cafe (5927 California Street at 21st), local artists Mack Dennis, Aimee Suzara, Michael Molina and Jimmy Thong Tran will be featured.
Monday: This holiday is so screwed up. Some people have today off, some people have tomorrow off, some people have both! When is your boss making you work? And if your response is "I don't need to work", we hate you.
Tuesday: Drive carefully, especially if you've just subjected yourself to the blinding glory of one of the Bay Area's re-creations of the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air.
