SFist Watches: TV Tonight

A Summer of Crappy TV continues tonight with the premiere of the reality dating show "How to Get the Guy" at 10 p.m. on ABC. "Not another stupid reality show!" you say? Well, yes. Yes it is. But this one is set in San Francisco!

Now, with a setting in San Francisco and a title like "How to Get the Guy" you might think that this is, in fact, a gay dating show. Well, that would a little too clever for the likes of ABC so, instead, we get the usual gaggle of girls hoping to find Mr. Right in a city with a (perhaps unfair) reputation for heterosexual frustration. Brill! These girls won't have to go it alone, though, as they've got two "Love Coaches" to help them out. We can't wait to see them coaching from the sidelines of the nightclub, "There's another blonde heading for the bar! Block! BLOCK!"
