Another Hole In The Head: SFist Has You Covered

slaughter.jpgSF Indie's Another Hole In The Head is the film fest we enjoy the most (that's why we sponsor it), and we couldn't be happier to see it back for its third year of blood, guts, and mayhem.

Last year, we saw nearly every film at the fest, and have the post traumatic stress disorder to prove it. This year is no different, with SFist's crack film fest team at the Roxie Film Center nearly every day of the fest's June 8-15 run. We're especially looking forward to Brett Leonard's disturbing Feed, Mike Mendez's disturbing The Gravedancers, and Brian Avenet-Bradley's disturbing Dark Remains (sensing a theme, here?)

We're not just seeing movies: we're also psyched as hell to see The Primitive Screwheads' (our favorite local theatre company) new show The Chainsaw Massacres, as it plays HoleHead on June 14 (more on that show later).

But first we're hitting tonight's launch party at Annie's Social Club (they moved this spring to 511 Folsom at 5th), and you should, too! The party starts at 7 and runs until 11:30, and features bands, DJs, spooooky film shorts, and $3 beers. Entry is 10 bucks, with all proceeds going to SF IndieFest. We'll see you there, and all week at the fest.
