SFist Watches: TV Tonight

Tonight, tonight, we need TV tonight...
Dog Bites Man, a new mockumentary comedy on Comedy Central--not to be confused with Man Bites Dog, the brilliant 1992 comedic mockumentary about a serial killer--premieres tonight at 10:30 p.m. It's a partly scripted, partly improvised send-up of a local news teams starring Andrea Savage, Matt Walsh, and Zach Galifianakis (a fave comedian of ours). Think "The Office" meets "The Daily Show." It's produced by a former "Da Ali Show" producer, Dan Mazer which, depending on your feelings about "Da Ali G Show," is either a good or a bad thing. Personally, we've got our hopes up pretty high. We want--nay, NEED--some good comedy this summer.

Zach Galifianakis is a genius. I've been looking forward to this show for a long time.
I must admit that I am something of a "So You Think You Can Dance" addict.
Pray for me.
I will pray. I will pray hard.
I've tried it--and "Dancing with the Stars"--a few times, and while America's apparent facination with dancing intrigues me, the shows just don't do anything for me. I'm not sure why. The upcoming Simon Cowell-produced America's Got Talent is another one I can't seem to get behind...
