Was It All Just A Dream?
This morning we were lying in bed, trying to summon the will face the day as the Alice Morning Show played in the background. (In the words of SFist Jon: "Hey, they're funnier than the Live105 crew and there's only so much public radio one can take in the morning.")
It's so weird, but we could have sworn we heard the CSI half of the late, great CSI: Plumpjack in an interview discussing Gavin in a VERY friendly way. Granted, we missed the beginning and it could have been a repeat, but it totally didn't sound like they had broken up.
Then again, we had just woken up, and are still a teeny bit hung over from the night before (they call it Medicine, but all the medicine we had last night was in booze form). Was it a vestiges of sake fantasy, or was Sofia on Sarah & No Name sounding decidedly unspurned? Or (our favorite) is this a case of tragic, Sean Young type denial?
A search of the Alice site made us none the wiser, so we turn to you, our faithful readers. Did anyone else hear this? Got any insight? Let us know in the comments!

What??!! You don't listen to Fernando and Greg the Gay Sportscaster? Sarah and No Name have been lame ever since Vinnie left. Why *was* Vinnie forced out, anyway???? Anyone?
Why don't you just email the show and ask?
I listened this morning and they had a few insights-Sofia wouldn't admit they broke up, but they have. Also!! Guilency is preggers, and their wedding (tomorrow? this weekend...) was in the works for a long time, but she had to wait til her divorce from Gavin was final.
Vinny left due to major drug use, from what I remember. They gave him at least one try to do rehab, but he couldn't kick it.
Mary, Care to elaborate on those insights? What else did Sofia say? And how are you sure that they've broken up?
Please, inquiring minds want to know!
Thanks for the info, Mary! I suspected it might be something like that, but never had it confirmed. I guess that explains why Vinnie kept not showing up for work in the morning.
Sasha: the show would *never* respond to an email on the topic. The few times it gets mentioned on the air by a caller, they get cut off and totally ignored. The show tries very hard to pretend there never *was* a vinnie. Probably b/c they know that the show was bette and more popular with him.
