Everybody Hates Chris: The District 6 Election
...and Part II of today's episode: Everybody Hates A Porn Star/Financial Planner.
We're reeling from the news that Rob Black, legislative aide to Michela Alioto-Pier, has announced for the District 6 race. Mostly because we can't believe someone would actually give us a scoop! The first scoop credit, though, should go to BoudiccaSF on the SFWall.net -- who first called Black as a possible candidate on Feb. 23, 2006 (last post on the page). BoudiccaSF notes that Black wears a bolo.
So who is Rob Black? Well, he's already hampered in the first step in launching a campaign -- the website robblack.com is already taken by an SF-based financial planner with a TV show on KRON 4. (pictured at left). There's also a porn star named Rob Black, but that Rob Black doesn't appear to live in District 6. (He does, however, appear above.)

Well, the actual Rob Black is an attorney who graduated from UC Hastings Law School around 2002. He's been heavily involved in getting price breaks for film crews shooting in SF and price hikes for ski jump organizers. Black used to work with Jim Sutton, a political attorney and lobbyist affiliated with Newsom . And ....well, that's all we've got.

We also kind of hope there's some fun mixup at the District 6 debate and Chris Daly studies up for a debate against the financial planner ("I was totally justified in that million-dollar tsunami relief pledge!) but ends up facing off against the porn star instead. ("I'll show you some mystical glop!")
