Bay Area Blog Pulse

yardrtulip.jpgRain, rain, go away. Come again another day. . .

With all that gloom, all the April Fool's jokes this past weekend were more welcome than usual. We're not sure--does it make us populists or hipster snobs to want these posts to be really, honest, pinky-swear true? There was plenty of humor to be found when South Park visited San Francisco, lovingly captured by Range Life. Check here for some real tales of danger parking, car politics and humor.

All that talk of parking almost makes us think MUNI's a good idea. Oh wait, no it's not. But we like the idea of trains, and we like Civic Center, so here's this week's mandatory post.

The other San Francisco institution that seems like a good idea but everyone seems to hate lately gets some blog press here. That second link is actually refreshing as it comes from a baseball newbie, as opposed to a battle-hardened, sports-radio-listening ESPN drone.

Finally, Minor Axis deals with some of the unintended consequences of writing a blog, while Mie nominates her spouse for Best Husband Ever.
